"Our care mission, People affected with blood malignancies and other deadly non-malignant blood diseases, for which the transplant of hematopoyetic stem cells is the therapy of choice and/or only valid therapeutic-alternative; for this purpose we have stablished the "COMPARTE VIDA FOUNDATION""

Our Foundation is now entering a change process, which should transform our "Comparte Vida" Foundation into a new one that will become a high-performance organization able to face the enormous challenges successfully.

For that purpose we've developed a deep into action agenda that will map and blueprint our transformation over the next 2-3 year period. 2003 was a tough year, and this 2004 is becoming even more challenging. But we will bridge these years and built a renewed Foundation for a long-term success.

To understand where we are going and what we need to do to get there, it is important to know where are we know and the extraordinary confluence of serious, political, regulatory and infrastructure issues, that are demanding a 360-degrees review.

Some political events have affected the image of philanthropic Organizations, that might affect the still incipient philanthropicall culture of the Mexican population and our image abroad. This is one of the most challenging situations we have encountered in many years, additionally the still inadequate regulation around the transplant and its poor enforcement, have made easier for several groups to start attempts to provide related-services to bone marrow transplant, not totally adequate, creating doubts and insecurity among the public. Infrastructure is also becoming a bottleneck, not only physical but human able to respond to the new technologies being develop at unprecedented scale. However, we have also seen underling strengths on which we can build. These strengths include the dedicated group of some 30 "Comparte Vida" Foundation volunteers, as our international liaisons and reputation increases, and the growing interest of most of the major government and private Health Organizations Leukemia and in the stem cell transplantation as therapeutic tool.

Thus we are inviting you to become one of our stakeholders, and began a journey whit us to build the "Foundation Comparte VIda", that society is demanding, supported by readapted mentality, updated capabilities and in closer contact with the people we serve, to earn their trust.

Looking ahead, we perceive uncertainties that might unpredictably impact our organization, but we also believe that focusing in what is under our control "service people suffering from the lack of an adequate donor and/ or hematopoyetic stem cells" with passion and good spirit we will drive our Foundation to new good times. From all of you, people, we need to become our stakeholders and receive the blessing of your faith and support.
